Skills First Programme

Skills First is a Victorian Government scheme that helps people access vocational education and training.
If you are eligible, the government will contribute to the cost of your training.

To be eligible for subsidised training, you must be:

  • an Australian citizen, or
  • an Australian permanent resident, or
  • a New Zealand citizen,
  • physically present in the state of Victoria when completing training and assessment.

Requirements:

There are limits on how much Skills First-funded training a student can do. This aims to maximise program completions and encourage students to make informed decision about their training and employment opportunities. Speak to one of our course advisors today to confirm your eligibility.

Please refer to the individual course page for a clear breakdown of fees, or see our Schedule of Fees here.

Not Eligible For Funding?

If you are not eligible for fee subsidies you may still enrol in the qualification as a Full Fee Paying student.

Please contact us today for the best price. We have flexible payment options available so that finance is not a stumbling block for you to get your education.

Fee Type
1. Course Fees

People applying for any of TIV’s Certificate III, IV and Diploma qualifications may be eligible for course fee subsidies under the Victorian Government’s Skills First Program. If so, the costs of training for eligible students are substantially reduced. Please refer to the individual course page for a clear breakdown of fees, or see our Schedule of Fees here. You can check the difference that ‘eligibility’ makes to the cost of your training. Please contact us for further details about any matter concerning Funding Subsidies. The student fees are indicative only and subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as student services and amenity fees.

2. Administration Fees

Different Courses have different Administration Fees structure, please see our Schedule of Fees here for more information.

3. Additional Fees

You will be advised in advance if any additional fees may apply such as student services and amenities fees.
