Can I go straight into the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Site Management) without doing a Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)?

Yes!

You will be placed in the mainstream Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) program (6 months, 2 nights a week) and complete the 12/15 units that are the same as the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Site Management). Then during this time, you will do your 3 remaining units on alternating Saturdays over 4 weeks.

What does TIV recommend if you haven’t finished a Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)?

If you haven’t completed a Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) TIV recommends doing the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) first.
