Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) (CPC40110)

The purpose of the Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building) is to meet the needs of builders and managers of small to medium sized building businesses and people interested in becoming
registered builders.

Nationally recognised building and construction course based in Melbourne

This nationally recognised course will assist you when applying to the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) to become a registered builder. The modules you will complete will prepare you for the exam as well as aiding you in putting together the evidence required to prove your competence to the board.

Courses apply to the Building and Construction Industry

The course applies to a range of possible employment outcomes in the building and construction industry. As well, students bring their own level of experience to the course. This may vary from no industry experience at all to extensive industry experience in a variety of roles.

To address these issues TIV has developed two versions of the course. Each version is designed to meet the needs of a particular student cohort. Guidelines are provided for you in the Designed For section to assist you in choosing the course that best meets your needs.

The training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government Funding to eligible applicants.
